When the temperature hits 43 Degrees Celcius
- My brains are in a permanent siesta mode, hence explaining the lack of new blog entries.
- Forget about taking cool showers in the afternoon because the water from the tap is so hot that I cant even wash dishes.
- Summer is here and it is mango season. Yeah!
- The entire day is spent sitting under the fan, in the aircon room with blackout curtains drawn or both.
- You will perspire anywhere and everywhere.
- Fashion at home is strictly limited to dri-fit tops and shorts.
- With humidity levels between 20-40%, lip balm is a necessity throughout the day and moisturizer at night. It's a bother!
- Drinking cold drinks is a must to bring body temperature down by one or two degrees. Ice is a must have in the fridge.
- In the kitchen, forget about cooking curry or soup. It's just too hot for all that stuff.
- Eat your chocolates fast! m&m tag line line of "Melt in your mouth not in your hands" is not applicable here.

oh dear... is it so hot consecutively or just 1-2 days? I'm freezing at the moment, 40 degrees less than you! Why can't we both have decent temperatures say somewhere in the middle? Anyway, stay hydrated, stay in the shade, and stay in air conditioned places where you can. I remember frequenting the supermarkets and hanging out in the freezer section when temps are around 40degs here!
43 is a high that the city hit this summer. On usual days, it ranges between 39-42 degrees. I would love to average out the temperature with you! Can never seem to drink enough these days and I have been hanging out at the gym longer than usual.
The papers say that monsoon will be early June this year, hope that is true. Going out in the rain will be another big bother but for now, cant wait for this to be over!
